Evaluation and Impact Officer
£32,000 – £35,000
At Macmillan, we want to ensure that the services we provide, the research we produce and the policies we design deliver the best possible outcomes for people affected by cancer. To do this, we need an evaluation and impact professional to join our team and ensure that we are reviewing, evaluating and improving everything that we do.
As an Evaluation and Impact Officer, you will lead on in-depth evaluation projects, support ongoing monitoring and self-evaluation undertaken by Macmillan professionals, and make sure evaluation findings are well used. It’s a key role that will involve working closely with all levels of stakeholders, so you’ll need to be an excellent communicator. You’ll help to build the capacity and culture of the organisation so that evaluation becomes embedded in the way we work.
You should have experience in evaluation, either in the public, private or not-for-profit sector. You will also need good communication and negotiation skills, the ability to work well with others, pick up new concepts quickly, and be able to influence senior colleagues.
In return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment, we will support your development and offer great benefits, including BUPA, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers, generous annual leave, and interest-free season ticket & gym membership loans.
